Quartz with Albite (690)

A single (7.5 cm) colorless, clear quartz crystal sticking out of a matrix of white albite (clevalandite). Most of the crystal is exposed above the matrix. The crystal looks to be a single but is actually a composite of multiple crystals in close parallel growth.
