Touissit in Morocco has produced its fair share of fine Cerussite specimens, but those that are usually seen are off-matrix 'V'-shaped twins. Many of those date back many decades with few good specimens coming to the market in recent times. This large and heavy matrix-hosted specimen is very different. It features at least three large (5 to 6 cm across) fan-like, or flower-like sprays of multiply twinned Cerussite crystals perched upon an orange-brown iron oxide-rich matrix. The Cerussite crystals are colourless to white with partial dull orange coatings but are intact and free from damage. This is a big and dramatic Moroccan Cerussite, very different to the norm.
