Quartz, 7 cm, from Denny Mountain, King County, Washington. Minute hematite inclusions give these quartz scepters a pinkish color. Collected in 1982 during a project with Stan Esbenshade and Ed Molsee. My wife’s drawing of this piece was used as my logo from 1982 to 1995.
