A highly refined gem crystal of heliodor, or golden beryl, from old finds in Minas Gerais. The luster is high and the color is strong. This is old, old material from a collection and while recognizable to those of us who have seen numerous old stashes of Brazilian material, seldom seen today. We have seen examples labeled as Marambaia in the past, and assume this is from there, or the general area of mines. Note the piece has some interesting inclusion and veils within, more symmetric to the eye in person. 22 grams.
