The richness in colour in this vivid raspberry red/pink Elbaite var. Rubellite tourmaline crystal is staggering. At 5.3 cm in length it is a good size too, especially to appreciate this spectacular show of colour. There is minor scuffing to the termination and it has several small additional Rubellite crystals protruding from its upper reaches, but overall this is a very eye-catching prismatic tourmaline. Added to this it is from the famous Cruzeiro mine in the eastern pegmatite area of Minas Gerais.
