The “holy grail” for Alpine Collectors: Pink and gemmy pink Fluorite crystals on top of one smoky quartz crystal from famous Aiguille d`Argentiere, Montblanc, France

Possessing a translucency so great that it appears to have an inner “glow”, these incandescent, intensely colored crystals display a distinct deep pink hue rather than the traditional light pink color known for the Alps.

The intergrown cluster of cubic fluorite crystals, measuring up to 2,5 cm sitting on top of a wonderful smoky quartz crystal.

From a new find at Aiguille d`Argentiere, Montblanc in 2019 this is one of a few select specimens in terms of quality of aesthetics, form, and condition and has remained at the pinnacle of Alpine fluorite collecting for 18 years. Obtainable only rarely now from older private collections they remain very sought-after.
