The sheer size of this tourmaline, combined with the fabulous coloring and quality will simply take your breath away! The crystal is doubly terminated, with a flat termination at the bottom and a pointed, modified termination at the upper end. The whole piece is highly lustrous and shows a wonderful surface structure all around with even some lepidolite to enhance its striking beauty. Admittedly, the tourmaline is repaired with a smaller professionally done gap-fill and has a tiny chip at the flat termination. Still, the impressively bright colors â€“ from pink to green, up to a shiny red â€“ and the quality of the perfect termination makes you willing to forgive those flaws and just enjoy this outstanding tourmaline specimen.
