Description
Peridot (sometimes called chrysolite) is a gem-quality olivine and a silicate mineral with the formula (Mg, Fe)₂SiO₄. Its green color depends on the iron content within the structure of the gem. Peridot occurs in silica-deficient rocks such as volcanic basalt and pallasite meteorites. This particular Crystal features a sharp, well-formed, transparent, lustrous, lime-green peridot crystal with double terminations. The quality and aesthetics are truly amazing in person.
