CERUSSITE on DUFTITE

This small miniature elevates Cerussite to a whole new level, displaying the most magnificent single crystal embedded in a dark green druse of sparkling Duftite. Admittedly, Cerussite commonly makes for showy specimens from Tsumeb, but the size, complex habit, transparency and lustre make this a miniature show-stopper. The primary crystal measures 3 x 2 x 1.8 cm and is perfectly terminated with multiple faces. The Duftite forms deep leaf green micro-crystals in tight drusy clusters, partly enveloping the glassy cerussite. A truly gorgeous small miniature with three earlier labels, one KRISTALLE of Laguna Beach, California.
