A cabinet specimen of translucent golden-honey Fluorite with cubic crystals ranging from a few mm to 3.1 cm on edge. The crystals are glassy with an overall bright lustre that is enhanced by bright reflections from internal planes. Most corners have a small gemmy zone and some show a rich purple within 1 to 2 mm of their corners. The internal reflections cause brilliant golden reflections which appear as if inclusions of Chalcopyrite, causing the whole specimen to glitter. A nicely crystallised and beautifully coloured Fluorite from the Annaberg District of Saxony, Germany.
