Description
A particularly rich specimen of semi-transparent to opaque intergrown crystals of light greenish smoky blue Beryl crystals measuring to 1.5 cm on a mica-schist matrix. From the Habach Valley in Austria, the Beryl forms hexagonal prisms up to 0.6 cm wide with naturally micro-etched surfaces. The crystals are of an unusual colour for Aquamarine but are this variety non-the-less. A rich small cabinet specimen of Aquamarine from this world famous locality in Austria.
