Scheelite on Wolframite and Quartz
A fine classic Scheelite crystal specimen from the long-closed Tae Hwa Mine, South Korea. The specimen displaying a number of characteristic bi-pyramidal dark to pastel brown Scheelite crystals measuring to approximately 2.4cm on edge, with some chipping apparent, which has been reflected in the price. Crystals of Scheelite have formed on metallic lustrous black Wolframite crystals and terminated gemmy colourless to white Quartz crystals. The Scheelite crystals having the characteristic intense white-blue fluorescence under UV light.
