Fluor-Buergerite
Fluor-Buergerite is a rare species within the Tourmaline Group and this excellent small cabinet specimen is from its type locality in the Mexquitic de Carmona Municipality of San Luis Potos' State in Mexico. Perfectly developed equant and elongated Fluor-Buergerite crystals are richly distributed throughout a surface of salmon pink Feldspar coating a light grey granitic matrix. The Fluor-Buergerite forms sharp prisms up to 1 cm long of opaque chocolate-clove, all with a beautiful glassy bright lustre.
