Baryte with Malachite inclusions$1,250.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
Very nice small cabinet combination piece from the Shangulowe Mine in the DRC that features several large, well-formed Baryte crystals in association with Malachite and some Chrysocolla. Translucent whitish gray, elongated, prismatic Baryte crystals dominate the specimen and are relatively large with crystals to 4.2cm with essentially no damage and are some are spotted with tiny Malachite balls. The Baryte crystal are set on a blanket of cute botryoidal Malachite and local patches of botryoidal Chrysocolla for contrast. There are some scattered sprays of vibrant green, 2 to 4mm Malachite crystals in places as well for accent. Each species complements the other and the association of Baryte with Malachite and Chrysocolla is unusual for this copper deposit specifically and copper deposits in general. The overall look of this is unique to the find, and this would be considered a rather robust and large example, from back when they came out (late 1990s...it is an old specimen).
