Sodalite Var. Hackmanite$2,450.00

Wire transfers available, to set up
From the world famous alkaline deposit of Mont St. Hilaire is this extremely rare, superb crystal of the sulfur-rich member of the sodalite group, hackmanite. This specimen is highlighted by a 2.5 cm-long, lustrous and translucent, ivory-colored crystal which fluoresces a brilliant yellowish-orange under UV light. It sits next to a few side crystals. It is so sharp it looks carved, and has textbook form and symmetry. This is a world class thumbnail example of this species, and an important crystal for the locality as well.
