Barite

GLASS POCKET INSANITY… MALACHITE & BARITE PERFECTION FROM THE CONGO!

THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTELY NEXT LEVEL!

Straight from the incredible GLASS POCKET in the Democratic Republic of the Congo comes this extraordinary combination of vibrant green MALACHITE and beautifully formed, glassy BARITE crystals!

THE CONTRAST ON THIS PIECE IS RIDICULOUS!

Just LOOK at those spectacular emerald-green malachite formations carpeting the matrix, with an incredible assortment of transparent, sharply terminated barite crystals rising right out of the green!

It’s like a miniature crystal forest!

The rich, velvety green malachite creates the perfect backdrop for those delicate, glassy barite crystals, giving this specimen an almost otherworldly appearance.

THE LUSTER. THE CONTRAST. THE CRYSTAL FORMATIONS. THE EVERYTHING!

What I absolutely love about this piece is how the two minerals complement each other so perfectly.

The intense green saturation of the malachite against those brilliant, transparent barite crystals is simply MESMERIZING!

And those little barite crystals scattered across the specimen? PURE MAGIC!

This is exactly why I love hunting for unusual mineral associations. Mother Nature puts together combinations that no artist could ever dream up!

A TRUE CONGO MASTERPIECE… EARTH’S ART AT ITS FINEST!
