It is not very often that we come across showy mineral specimens from the ancient Ulpen Cu deposit in the Tyrol region, Austria. This very colourful, cabinet-sized Azurite is not covered in large crystals, but then we would not expect it to be. It is however, a nice showy example from this rarely encountered locality with an extensive coverage of blue microcrystals with a little green Malachite in attendance too. Ex David Hardman Collection.
