Although world-famous for its magnificent crystallized Azurite specimens this small cabinet-sized piece from Tsumeb mine is quite different in its presentation, resembling more, the finely crystallized crystal-lined nodules seen at places like Bisbee, Arizona. With a superb contrast between bright pale powder blue in the banded outer layer and darker blue in the crystal-coated inside of the vug, it produces a quite striking display specimen.
