This pretty, pink, small cabinet specimen of Elbaite tourmaline on Quartz with pale purple Lepidolite mica and white Cleavelandite feldspar is from the Mawi pegmatites in Nuristan Province, Afghanistan. Several, wide prismatic Elbaite crystals, sit prominently partially within, and alongside a large, terminated Quartz crystal. The Elbaite crystals display an attractive pale bubblegum pink body colour with pale pastel green tips, showing unusual natural undulating terminations.
