This very large miniature specimen is an old-time Eudialyte from the Type Locality area of Kangerluarsuk Fjord in Ilímaussaq Complex, Narsaq, Kujalleq, Greenland. The Eudialyte coverage is extensive, as pale pink crystallized grains and larger masses embedded within an Aegirine-bearing rock matrix. There are undoubtedly larger and darker coloured individual Eudialyte crystals from this, the Type Locality, but this is still a classic from this most important of occurrences. for this complex sodium calcium iron zirconium silicate chloro-hydrate. It is particularly nice with its association with a large fan-like spray of black acicular Aegirine crystals. It bears an old number label (no. 371) about which nothing more is known, but the label does have a distinctive border around it. It is from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 & 1956-2021) which was dominated by historic specimens dating from the later 1800s.
