This toe-nail sized, dense, residual sulphide-bearing matrix from Tsumeb mine, hosts four excellent, sharp, fin-like, cream to golden, colour-zoned Adamite crystals to 7 mm across, plus many smaller gemmy Adamite crystals associated with tiny beige coloured spiky Austinite microcrystals and 2 to 3 mm long prismatic, pyramidally-terminated colourless to white Mimetite crystals. For Tsumeb mine this is a particularly fine Adamite, showing not only the classic colour and form, but in perfect, undamaged crystals too, and with an excellent glossy, resinous lustre.
