Epidote is one of the best known of all the Alpine cleft species in the world, and some great Epidote specimens have come out of Pakistan in recent years. They are seemingly identical to the classic Alpine specimens from Europe and this particular piece is really good example. This cabinet-size piece is sharp, lustrous, transparent to translucent, and has visible Faden inclusion, which is something really rare to be found. This piece has a deep and saturated dark green color with a weird zigzag formation. The crystal is in excellent condition and looks great from the front. The overall aesthetics of this piece is amazing.
