This classic, old-time Hematite var. Iron Rose is from the famous St. Gotthard Massif area in the Swiss Alps. It features an 'island' of clustered, flower-like, rosetted groups of bright dark grey metallic Hematite crystals sat upon a classic Adularia-rich rock matrix. These Iron Roses individually reach 1.5 cm across, but combined, the arrangement of flowers measures 2.8 x 2.5 cm. All are in excellent condition and look superb in detail. A very rich, classic Iron Rose specimen.
