Bright lustrous sharp golden crystals of pyrite to almost 4.0 cm in size aesthetic across a crystallized quartz matrix with minor iridescent lustrous black sphalerite crystals. This is in terrific condition.The Mundo Nuevo Mine, located in the Huamachuco district of Peru, is renowned for its complex hydrothermal ore veins hosted within Andean regional rock formations. Geologically, the deposit is famous for producing exceptional mineral specimens, particularly high-quality rock crystal quartz and distinct metallic of minerals such as pyrite, hubnerite and sphalerite.
