Fluorite from Xia Yang Mine, Quanzhou, Fujian, China

Xia Yang Mine is actually a series of mines which are largely exploited for lime, but have produced a variety of element ores and even some rare earth elements, which is also why they have such a variety of colors and aesthetics. Many of the Fluorite from here form as a now iconic dodecahedral structure with cubic face modifications. The coloration varies most, offering different saturations and tones of blues and greens with occasional finds with purple, or astonishing phantoms.
