A cluster of gemmy lustrous colorless Celestine crystals, the prominent crystal 4.5 cm in size. This is crystallized naturally all around, there are no points of attachment. From the 1990s. In excellent condition. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Ray DeMark. The La Ilusion Mine, situated in the arid desert terrain of Coahuila, Mexico, is celebrated by mineral collectors for its hydrothermal deposits hosted within regional carbonate and sedimentary formations. The geology of this region features complex faulting and limestone structures that favored the formation of secondary mineral pockets, yielding notable specimens such as dark purple fluorite. While major industrial mining in Coahuila dates back centuries, La Ilusion has gained modern prominence primarily as a small-scale artisanal and specimen mining locality known for producing high-quality mineral crystals rather than large-scale industrial metal output.
