Okorusu is well known for its diversity in aesthetics for Fluorites, both in color and form. This specimen is no exception, showing an unusual composure in nearly every way. The Fluorite itself is a peculiar dodecahedral crystal with cubic faces, and while it seems to be a solid deep green, the inside contains a hidden vibrant yellow phantom. The outside of the specimen is coated in Quartz and contrasts the dark Fluorite beautifully, but also provides an interesting medium for the overall shape of the specimen.

An absolute showstopper of a cabinet specimen displaying the elite color contrast and architectural beauty native to the legendary Okorusu Mine in Namibia. This masterfully composed piece features a deep, emerald-green Fluorite crystal cluster brilliantly accented by a pristine carpet of crystalline, snow-white Quartz. The left side of the specimen is dominated by a major, beautifully defined tower of translucent green cubic fluorite crystals showing exceptional luster and highly structural growth forms. The central valley of the piece is blanketed by a striking, contrasting ridge of sharply terminated white quartz crystals. Under backlight, the deep green fluorite cubes display the highly sought-after multi-toned core zoning lines signature to this famous African locality. The reverse side reveals an incredibly descriptive, fully intact natural pocket matrix featuring rich purple undertones.
