Cubic and well formed Fluorite from Colorado is rare, especially showing any level of translucency. This is a massive crystal with a remarkable phantom hidden inside from this well known Colorado locality. - A vast majority of Colorado Fluorite is weathered heavily due in part because they are pegmatitic Fluorites which are weathered by the nature of their geological exposure, but also because of their age and actual exposure to elements. Only when you dig far enough into the veins will you locate large and intact crystals like this. An expensive and rarely worthwhile endeavor.
