Rhodochrosite

RHODOCHROSITE ROYALTY

This one is an absolute showstopper.

An epic Rhodochrosite from the Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Colorado — glowing with that electric cherry-red saturation that made this legendary locality famous around the world.

The sharp rhombohedral form, incredible color, translucency, and fiery internal glow are just next level. Hold it up to the light and this crystal absolutely comes alive.

Making it even more special is the provenance — ex. the esteemed Andrew Irving Collection, #AI44. Pieces with great aesthetics are one thing, but when you combine a world-class locality with distinguished provenance, it becomes something truly special.

A killer piece of Colorado mineral history and one I’m incredibly excited to have acquired.
