This fine mineral specimen originates from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in Hunan, China, a locality now permanently closed.
The specimen is dominated by large, translucent cubic fluorite crystals with classic stepped growth texture. The fluorite shows attractive blue‑purple phantom zoning: icy‑blue crystal body outlined by distinct purple rim. Crystal faces are bright and reflective. Sharp, intact quartz crystals grow naturally on the fluorite matrix, forming an aesthetic mineral association without damage to either species.
All crystals are natural raw condition, no dyeing, no heavy acid treatment. Main crystal is well‑preserved with no major repair or heavy chipping. Cabinet‑sized piece, ready for cabinet display, mineral collection and geology study.
