From the mid to thousands, dutiful cluster of amethystine quartz, the largest crystals measuring to 3.0 cm in size. The color due to inclusions of hematite. Lustrous green bladed crystals of epidote are scattered attractively throughout. This is naturally crystallized all around with no points of attachment and in great condition. Hongxizhen, located in Meigu County within the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, China, has emerged in recent years as a notable locality for specialty mineral specimens. Geologically, the area is characterized by complex tectonic and hydrothermal settings typical of southwestern China, where mineral-rich fluids circulated through fractures and cavity systems within regional rock formations. Mineralogically, the region is internationally acclaimed for producing exceptional inclusion quartz, widely known in the collector market as Sichuan garden crystal or lodolite, featuring striking internal phantoms, green epidote, and vibrant red iron-oxide or hematite landscapes. Historically, mining activity here remains largely small-scale and artisanal, driven by local prospectors targeting pocket minerals that have gained rapid prominence among global mineral enthusiasts and museum curators.
