Polished specimen of "Crater Agate" measuring 3.25 inches (8.2 cm) across the face, from Chubut Province, Argentina. Obtained from Luis De Los Santos, who discovered and dug it. A good article on this type of agate appeared in Rock & Gem Magazine, Vol 28 #12 (Dec. 1998) at page 80. Ex Christopher Wentzell collection.
