Rosasite with Cerussite
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia
7 x 6 x 3.5 cm
A well-formed specimen of rosasite presenting as a thick, deep teal-green botryoidal crust with a sparkling druzy surface, coating a vuggy matrix. A cavity near center hosts a gemmy, ywinned Cerussite crystal cluster in pale, translucent tones, providing strong contrast against the saturated green rosasite. The botryoidal habit is well-developed across the specimen’s face, with individual mammillary lobes cleanly delineated. Excellent color saturation and crystal-to-matrix contrast.
