Petalite is a fairly rare lithium aluminum silicate and occasionally, excellent gemmy crystals like this one, are found among beautiful Tourmalines and Beryls in pegmatite pockets for which Paprok is known. This particular Petalite is large, lustrous, transparent floater; complete all around. It has been slightly etched as are most, but still retains the overall crystal habit. It is very gemmy and transparent, more translucent at the top. It is gemmier where the etching is minimal. Complete-all-around, and an excellent example of the species. Ex.
