Ships from PolandA highly aesthetic Brandberg amethyst featuring an intensely colored, sharply terminated crystal emerging from a contrasting green matrix. The crystal displays a rich deep-purple phantom-like coloration concentrated in the termination, gradually fading into a transparent and lustrous lower section. Excellent transparency reveals delicate internal structures and natural inclusions, adding character and depth to the specimen.
The vivid purple crystal forms a striking visual contrast against the pale green host rock, creating an eye-catching and unusual color combination highly sought after by collectors of Brandberg quartz. The termination is well developed with bright vitreous luster and attractive crystal faces that reflect light beautifully.
Brandberg amethysts are renowned worldwide for their exceptional clarity, intense colors, and unique internal features. Specimens combining such a richly colored crystal with contrasting matrix are considerably less common than loose crystals, making this piece particularly desirable for collectors of fine Namibian minerals.
