Group of deep purple crystals of quartz var. amethyst with the typical artichoke growth from the classic and hard to obtain locality: Vălişoara (Porkura), Hunedoara Co., Romania. Old specimen collected around 1780s. Ex. Philip Gregory and Bill Larson collections. My collection.
