Quartz with Lepidocrocite and Hematite inclusions Northern Turkana Province, Rift Valley, Kenya

A sharply sceptered quartz crystal packed with a stunning combination of inclusions. Vivid crimson-red lepidocrocite appears as bright speckling and wispy flame-like streaks throughout the glassy interior, while well-defined masses of jet-black hematite provide dramatic contrast. A ghostly violet amethyst phantom is visible at the core. The narrow base and bipyramidal termination give the piece an elegant, almost sculptural form. Fine included quartz from Kenya is exceptionally rare, making this a standout piece for any inclusion or African mineral collection.
