Dimensions: 4.5 x 2.4cm Provenance: Takab, Belqeys mountain, West Azerbaijan, Iran Rare to find these garnets on well crystallized calcite crystals, the 2 crystals of 1.6cm are complete but not gems. The presentation is excellent, the only piece I have seen like this! Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base (soft putty).
