Dimensions: 4.7 x 3.3cm Location: Ladjuar Medam, Sar-e-Sang, Kuran wa Munjan District, Badakhshan, Afghanistan Afghanite was discovered in 1968 in the Sar-e-Sang lapis lazuli mine. Much rarer than Lazurites, samples like this one, of beautiful color, with well-formed crystalline faces have become rare on the market. Dimension of the crystal: 3.2cm! Dimensions without the acrylic base, which is supplied with the mineralogical specimen. The mineral is not glued to the base.
