Multicolor Tourmaline var Elbaite crystal from the Himalaya Mine, Gem Hill, Mesa Grande, San Diego Co., California.  This piece is from the Ralph Potter era (about 1958-1962 or thereabouts).   I acquired out of an old collection of Himalaya Mine pieces.  Christopher Wentzell collection.  2.75 inches tall.  Unusual colors not normally seen for the locality. When the afternoon light hits this one from above and behind it almost looks like a rainbow!
