Lustrous iridescent crystals of fluorite to 0.5 cm in size nicely covering matrix with bladed crystals of Celestine. These are slightly iridescent in very pretty.The White Rock Quarry near Clay Center in Ottawa County, Ohio, is a limestone quarry that has been worked for aggregate and construction stone. The quarry exposes Silurian age carbonate rocks that contain cavities and fractures where minerals have formed. It has become a productive collecting locality, yielding specimens such as celestine, calcite, fluorite, and dolomite. Collectors value the site for its well formed crystals and the diversity of minerals found within the limestone host rock.
