chunks of Precious Opal in a water-filled glass display dome, from the famed Virgin Valley of Nevada USA. These are kept wet to prevent them from drying out and cracking or crazing, as most Virgin Valley Opal is specimen opal. Glass display dome measures about 5 inches across. The pieces of opal measure in size from 2-4 inches.
