The style of this Quartz crystal is classic Cínovec/Zinnwald on the Germany/Czechia border. Robust and chunky, with a pale smoky interior and grey-white outer layer, the association with rosette-like aggregates of micaceous Zinnwaldite around its base really does add a lovely touch. An interesting, natural, rehealed fracture runs up through on side of the crystal. Ex Hans Engelbrecht Collection, no. 193, with his label.
