Quartz and pyrite with ankerite, 27 cm, from Spruce Ridge, King County, Washington. Collected with Stan Esbenshade in 1985, from the Louie the Lump zone. Weighing over 35 kilos when found, subsequent trimming reduced it to a svelte 27 kilos. One of the top 3 large specimens ever found at Spruce. Arkenstone specimen and photo, now in the Houston Museum of Science.
