Beautifully blue-zoned, stepped-grown and highly lustrous fluorite crystals up to 0.5 cm in size - accompanied by some pinkish-beige baryte. This material is highly sought after because oft its amazing blue color and rarity. There are a few chips visible which does not affect the appearance of that well-colored specimen. Here we have a sample with a very intense blue coloration. From the Nowaja Shaft (=Schacht 78 Mine) Frohnau, Annaberg-Buchholz, Ore Mts., Saxony, Germany.

The intensity of the blue color depends on the light you chose. The best coloration is seen in an indirect day light. A small sample but rare.
