Azurite with Malachite ps. Azurite

Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia

4 x 3.3 x 2.9 cm

ex. Irv Brown

A somewhat unusual habit of Azurite/Malachite pseudomorph from Tsumeb. Blades of unaltered Azurite combine with blades of Malachite pseudomorp to form a highly aesthetic “puffball” of blue and green burst. This is likely from some of the later finds at Tsumeb.
