Lustrous salad green anapaite crystal clusters on a fossilized tree bark matrix. This phosphate mineral usually crystallizes in places with organic remnants. It is named after the type locality (which this piece is from) Anapa in Russia, just across the famous Ukrainian locality in Crimea where vivianite and anapaite is found in shells. This specimen has grown inside tree bark (now stabilized with resin) which you can see on the second photo. Great TL piece!
