A massive and incredibly bright example of the Quartz and Fluorite combination specimens from the Pasto Bueno mining district. This specimen presents a large forest of sizable and very well-formed Quartz crystals that are speckled with modified cubes of Fluorite, reaching up to 1.2 centimeters. The Fluorites have colorless, translucent zones underneath the crystal faces, giving the crystals a nice frosted appearance, and seafoam green core, which strongly fluoresces blue under UV light. Apart from where the Quartz meets the matrix, each of the Quartz crystals are colorless, transparent, and have a vitreous luster that is accented by the hundreds of thin striations that score the side faces.
