All over this well-balanced cabinet specimen are dozens of textbook Spessartine trapezohedrons (up to 0.7 centimeters) speckled across beautifully-formed associations of Smoky Quartz and a matrix of crystallized Orthoclase. Every Spessartine crystal is completely gemmy and glassy, filled with a light to amber orange color that stands out wonderfully against the rest of the specimen. Apart from their glassy luster and obvious color contrast, the Smoky Quartz crystals are highly transparent, allowing for full viewership of the Spessartine crystals that have grown epitaxially across their backmost faces. This piece comes with a labelled acrylic base.
