As far as the Kennedy collection's history goes, this is a significant mineral in that Dan Kennedy himself performed all of the prep work for the large Fluorite plate, while working under the close supervision of Marc Kilbaso. This plate is composed of magnificent Okorusu Fluorite cubes dominated by an intense green hue and, signature of the locality, has sharp dark zoning. The Fluorites are fully-formed with incredibly glassy internal cleavage behind the cubic corners, which makes the crystals flash. Interestingly, some of the Fluorite's zoning is formed along the cleavage planes. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
